Position Summary
The Baker is responsible for daily bread production, from mixing and shaping to baking and finishing, while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys early mornings, working with their hands, and being part of a focused production team.
Previous professional baking experience is not required — we are happy to train the right candidate who shows reliability, curiosity, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily bread production according to established recipes and standards
- Mix, scale, shape, proof, bake, and finish breads and related products
- Learn and follow proper fermentation, baking, and quality-control practices
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures at all times
- Assist with prep, organization, and production flow as needed
- Communicate clearly with the bakery team and leadership
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Interest in baking and willingness to learn
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Team-oriented attitude with a positive, dependable work ethic
