Shift: 8:00 PM-5:30 AM
Hourly Rate: $19.49 an hour + $1.00 shift differential
Reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor, you will support sanitation activities within the plant environment by ensuring equipment and production areas are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained in compliance with food safety, safety, and quality standards. You will contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace by following established procedures and supporting production readiness.
Clean and sanitize equipment, including machinery, hoppers, and extruders
Use approved chemicals to clean and maintain production equipment
Sweep, mop, and clean assigned production lines and surrounding areas
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices
Follow all safety and Human Resources policies and procedures
Attend work as scheduled and maintain punctuality
Complete Lockout Tagout training within the first 90 days
Support additional duties as assigned
Identify food safety risks and escalate concerns to the lead or supervisor
High School diploma or GED preferred
Machine Operator experience preferred
Detail oriented with strong attention to cleanliness and compliance
Strong written and oral communication skills
Understanding of food safety practices and risk awareness
More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include:
Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
