Duties
- Assist in food preparation, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of banquet events or catering services.
- Support chefs during meal service by preparing necessary items and ensuring timely delivery.
- Follow food handling safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen management team.
Skills
- Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in food service or restaurant settings.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively within a team.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and help others.
- Experience with banquet or catering services is a plus but not required.
