Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist to join our team in <LOCATION> Park. In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Responsibilities
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients’ developmental goals.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses accurately to inform ongoing treatment plans.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines.
- Support clients during teaching sessions, social interactions, and structured activities designed to promote skill development.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and update individualized treatment strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
- Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that encourages growth, independence, and confidence for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training for new team members.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and data collection methods.
- Ability to work effectively with children and individuals with autism in a compassionate and patient manner.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, families, and caregivers.
