Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by performing sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and surface cleaning.
- Care for flooring through proper techniques for carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and stain removal to preserve their appearance and longevity.
- Follow established protocols for handling cleaning chemicals safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards.
- Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to guarantee guest comfort at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks for maximum efficiency.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus.
- Proven skills in cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or steam cleaners is advantageous.
- Knowledge of custodial procedures and safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards across all areas of the hotel.
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments demonstrates an understanding of guest service expectations.
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
