A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support one of its plant operations. This role will serve as a key member of the site leadership team and will be responsible for leading day-to-day HR functions while supporting employee engagement, workforce development, compliance, recruiting, training, safety initiatives, and positive employee relations.
The ideal candidate will bring strong generalist HR experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment and will be comfortable working closely with both hourly employees and plant leadership.
- Lead and support HR initiatives across the manufacturing site, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and compliance.

Partner with plant leadership to support business goals, workforce planning, employee engagement, and retention.

Coach and advise managers and supervisors on employee relations, performance concerns, policy interpretation, and leadership best practices.

Foster a positive and professional work environment through consistent communication, fair practices, and strong employee support.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR procedures.

Support compensation, benefits, attendance, disciplinary processes, and other HR-related programs.

Assist with training, safety-related programs, and employee development initiatives.

Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and documentation.

Serve as a trusted resource for employees at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience.

Prior experience in a manufacturing, plant, distribution, or industrial environment.

Experience supporting hourly and salaried employees.

Strong employee relations, coaching, and communication skills.

Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.

Ability to work effectively with employees, supervisors, and leadership at all levels.

Experience supporting training and/or safety programs is a plus.
