Production and Service Technician
Our client is seeking a Production and Service Technician to support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of specialized electronic hardware. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on electronics experience who is comfortable working with single-board assemblies, RF components, and digital circuitry in a quality-focused production environment.
This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, California.
Production and Service Technician Responsibilities
- Assemble, test, and inspect single-board electronic hardware in accordance with established production and quality standards.
- Perform board-level troubleshooting and diagnostics on RF and digital electronic assemblies.
- Identify and isolate hardware issues using appropriate electronic test equipment, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic units requiring production or service support.
- Perform functional testing and quality checks to confirm completed assemblies and repairs meet applicable specifications.
- Document testing, troubleshooting, repair activities, and identified issues accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and technical team members to resolve hardware problems and support product quality.
Production and Service Technician Qualifications
- Approximately 5 years of experience in electronics assembly, testing, troubleshooting, repair, or a related technical environment.
- Strong experience with board-level electronics troubleshooting, including RF and digital circuitry.
- Hands-on experience assembling, testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic hardware or single-board assemblies.
- Working knowledge of RF systems, digital electronics, and microprocessor-based hardware.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, technical drawings, and related documentation.
- Experience using electronic test and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve hardware issues.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform precise assembly and testing work while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to meet applicable eligibility requirements for access to controlled or sensitive project information, if required.
