Job Summary
Primarily responsible for working with Escrow Administrators for all Arizona brands helping to resolve earnest money disputes. Additional duties include lien waiver review and backing up Arizona’s construction disbursement department and assisting the Arizona Underwriting Department with other issues as they arise. Position will be mostly remote, but with sometime in the office.
Essential Functions
Working directly with Escrow Administrators to resolve earnest money disputes between buyers, sellers, and their respective Real Estate Professionals. This also includes communicating with the Company’s clients and their attorneys via email and phone. Assisting the Arizona Construction Disbursement Department by reviewing lien waivers, pay apps, and other construction related documentation, and being the primary department backup responsible for performing review of construction documentation, disbursing construction funds on an as-needed basis, reviewing and approving wires, wiring funds, and check signing. Assisting the underwriting department as needed. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, claim submissions, and clearing FFP alerts, compliance matches, and warnings. Other responsibilities will likely evolve as job experience grows.
Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Extensive knowledge of the Arizona Residential Purchase Agreement. Escrow knowledge a plus. Title experience a plus, but not necessary.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Paralegal degree or extensive experience performing paralegal related job responsibilities.
