The Award Winning Buckingham Pavilion, a Geriatric Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Residence, located on the north side of Chicago adjacent to the Evanston, Skokie, & Lincolnwood communities, is currently seeking an experienced Restorative Nurse. The Restorative Nurse is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and supervision of the restorative nursing program at Buckingham.

Responsibilities include:
- Direct, supervise and coordinate the Rehabilitation / Restorative Care Program.
- Complete required records , by on going charting & documenting per requirements and facility policy, including upon admission, discharge, and transfer.
- Assist in evaluating residents for rehabilitative and restorative service.
- Oversee that restorative nursing measures are reflected within the plan of care
- Review documentation for residents receiving restorative services. Ensure that appropriate ADL documentation has been completed.
- Participate in fall management programs.
- Direct staff training and competencies.
- Maintain tracking and oversight duties.
Requirements:
- RN license in the State of Illinois
- Experience in a SNF setting as a Restorative Nurse
- Candidate must have restorative/rehabilitation certification
- Experience with falls management a plus
- Knowledgeable of the MDS process
- CPR Certified
- Energetic, professional with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Team player
- Compassionate understanding of eldercare
- Bilingual a plus
