Turn your extra hours into easy money...Earn money driving for King Capital Transport, an independent service provider for FedEx Ground.
We are now hiring drivers to deliver small FedEx packages from the comfort of their own cars.
Pay and Benefits:
- $20.00/hour
- Fuel stipend
- Drivers are paid bi-weekly.
Working Hours
- 1-5 days per week, any days of the week
- Start Time: Will flex: most days between 8am and 9am
- End Time: Varies with package count, between 4-6 hours per day
Driver requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old with a current driver’s license that you’ve held for at least a year.
- Must have a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
- Must pass background screen.
- Must pass TSA background check
- Must have a smartphone and cell service.
- Must be personable and represent FedEx Ground.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test
- No DOT physical required.
- No commercial driving experience is necessary, but Lyft/Uber/Instacart experience is a plus.
Vehicle requirements:
- Must have a passenger type vehicle: SUV, Minivan, or truck (trucks must have a shell topper)
- Vehicle model year must be 2013 or newer.
- Vehicle must have at least 70 cubic feet of cargo area with seats laid down
- Vehicle must be in good condition (No damage, rust, stickers, decals, etc.)
- The vehicle must be registered to you and have proof of insurance. You will be responsible for ensuring that the vehicle remains insured, and that the insurance coverage is at the state minimum level. You may need to contact your insurance carrier and get inexpensive supplemental insurance.
