USAPD Security is seeking Armed Security Officers (Level III) for immediate openings across the Houston area. This role supports high-traffic transit operations during the FIFA World Cup 2026, with opportunities for permanent placement based on performance, attendance, and operational needs.Compensation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a visible armed security presence at transit locations
- Patrol stations, platforms, and transit vehicles to ensure safety
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns
- Enforce policies and procedures with professionalism and sound judgment
- Prepare detailed incident and daily activity reports
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and transit personnel
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Active Level III (Commissioned) Security Officer License
- Minimum 5 years security experience
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
Required Experience (One of the Following)
- Military service with security or law enforcement-related duties
- Background in corrections or law enforcement
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or a related field
- Completion of a law enforcement, corrections, or firefighting academy
- DD214 with honorable discharge (if qualifying through military experience)
Additional Requirements
- Ability to pass a 7-year background check
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must pass a physical examination
