Role Summary:
The HR Operations and Compliance Coordinator provide administrative and operational support across the Human Resources department. This role helps ensure HR data is accurate, organized, and meaningful used to identify trends, support compliance requirements, improve processes, and assist with informed decision-making across the HR function.
This position works closely with HR team members and internal stakeholders to maintain HR systems and documentation, prepare reports, support government, and compliance-related requirements, and provide support for HR programs, initiatives, and department operations.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Maintain employee information, HR records, trackers, and department files.

Update employee information and documentation within the HR information system.

Assist with preparing recurring HR reports related to headcount, turnover, onboarding, compliance, and other employee information.

Review employee records and reports for completeness and accuracy and communicate discrepancies to the appropriate HR team member.

Support the offboarding process.

Support government reporting and compliance-related activities.

Maintain HR calendars, compliance trackers, dashboards, spreadsheets, and project tools.

Respond to routine HR questions or direct employees and managers to the appropriate HR team member.

Assist with department projects and initiatives across different areas of Human Resources.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Job Requirements / Skills / Education

Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.

1-2 years of experience in HR Operations, HR coordination, reporting compliance, or administrative support.

Experience with HRIS, such as ADP Workforce Now, is desirable.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, (spreadsheets, sorting and filtering, basis formula), and eagerness to build stronger data skills on the job.

Ability to review data, identify trends or discrepancies, organize information, and present findings.

Familiarity with AI-supported tools for communications, research, reporting, or process improvement.

Strong attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, learn new systems, and work collaboratively.
