Duties
- Support senior stylists with daily salon operations, including client preparation and service setup
- Assist with hair cutting, styling, coloring, and finishing to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all workstations, tools, and equipment
- Manage appointment scheduling using salon software such as Phorest to optimize client flow
- Engage with clients through friendly communication, understanding their needs and preferences
- Help with retail sales by upselling hair care products and conditioner treatments
- Participate in mentoring sessions to learn techniques like straight razor shaving, hair threading, and hair coloring theory
Experience
- Previous experience working in the beauty industry or cosmetology is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of salon software systems such as Phorest is a plus
- Familiarity with hair care products, hair extensions, and color theory enhances your ability to serve clients effectively
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Basic understanding of sanitation practices and salon safety standards
- Experience with problem solving and working well under pressure
- Passion for continuous learning in areas ( hair color Cutting and styling ) and advanced styling techniques
