Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting the right automotive parts and accessories, providing detailed product knowledge and troubleshooting advice.
- Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts displays to ensure availability and easy access.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems while handling cash, credit, and electronic payments responsibly.
- Collaborate with the service team to facilitate vehicle repairs and maintenance by ensuring timely parts availability.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting skills to advise customers on vehicle systems and repair needs.
- Maintain organized records of orders, inventory levels, and customer interactions using dealership management software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dealership or retail automotive parts sales with a solid understanding of automotive parts and accessories.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in vehicle maintenance, repair processes, and automotive diagnostics.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively using inventory management systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, POS systems, and dealership management software (CMMS).
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence and phone etiquette.
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales calculations, order fulfillment, and stock management.
- Previous experience in auto parts sales or dealership environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
