As part of La Cabra’s expansion to the US, we are looking to hire a skilled E-Commerce Operations Specialist to join our team.
This role will be crucial in managing and optimizing our North American webshops for both our wholesale and retail customers. Located in the creative and dynamic neighborhood of Bushwick, our new roastery aims to build on the success of our operation in Copenhagen, roasting a diverse line-up of some of the highest quality coffees available, sourced by our team in Copenhagen.

As the E-Commerce Operations Specialist at La Cabra in New York, you will have a key role in our expansion into the North American market. Starting in the summer of 2024, the Bushwick roastery will supply all of La Cabra’s customers in North America through both wholesale and retail channels. In this position, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our webshops, ensuring that product listings and inventory management effectively support our expansion. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating web content to enhance the online shopping experience and providing customer support to our retail clients.
Collaborating closely with teams in New York and Denmark, you will help synchronize e-commerce strategies across the company. Reporting directly to the Head of E-Commerce, your efforts will be vital in driving the operational productivity and success of our webshops and operations.
Maintain and update the online catalog of products, ensuring all listings are accurate, reflect our current offerings, and comply with our weekly update deadlines.
Oversee daily operations of the webshops, including content updates, inventory management, and price adjustments, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
Provide high-quality customer service for our online retail operations, adopting a solution-oriented and customer-centric approach to resolve inquiries and enhance customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the US team and coordinate with headquarters in Denmark to ensure e-commerce activities align with company objectives and leverage current offerings.
Ensure our online presence aligns with the overall business strategy by closely coordinating with other departments.
Proven expertise in e-commerce platform management, particularly Shopify, with a strong track record in creating and maintaining detailed product listings, managing inventory, and designing effective landing pages.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms, with experience managing and coordinating activities among diverse teams.
A strong foundation in design principles and attention to detail, with proven experience in design software like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Team-oriented professional with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments, contributing to team goals and supporting colleagues.
Proactive and autonomous work ethic, able to efficiently manage responsibilities independently due to the geographical dispersion of the team, while maintaining proactive communication and coordination.
Well organised with strong time management skills and attention to details.
