We're looking for a Community Maintenance Technician to join our team supporting a premier Four Seasons 55+ community in beautiful Bluffton, South Carolina.
In this role, you'll help preserve the community experience residents value every day by maintaining the appearance, safety, functionality, and overall condition of community amenities and common areas. From supporting preventative maintenance efforts to helping ensure community spaces remain welcoming and well cared for, your work will have a direct impact on the resident experience.

What You'll Do
Help Keep The Community Looking Its Best

Maintain the appearance of community amenities, parks, trails, and common areas
-
Perform routine upkeep including painting, pressure washing, trash removal, and general maintenance tasks
- Monitor community spaces and identify opportunities to improve appearance and functionality
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
Support Exceptional Resident Experiences

Help ensure community amenities remain clean, safe, and welcoming
- Interact professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and team members
- Assist with setup and breakdown of community events and activities
- Support day-to-day community operations as needed
Contribute to a Safe and Well-Maintained Community

Assist with preventative maintenance projects
- Support safety initiatives and emergency preparedness efforts
- Report maintenance concerns and collaborate with facilities and operations teams on repairs and improvements
Work as Part of a Collaborative Team

Partner with community operations and facilities teams on projects and assignments
- Support community initiatives and special events

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED required
-
Experience in maintenance, janitorial services, landscaping, facilities, hospitality, or a related field preferred

Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment

Strong customer service and communication skills

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check
Additional Requirements

This is an onsite position

Ability to lift and move at least 30 pounds

Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions

Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
