Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deburr Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined parts to ensure they meet strict quality standards. Your expertise will help maintain the precision and safety of our products, supporting efficient production workflows. Responsibilities
- Operate various fabrication and machining equipment, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, stamping presses, and CAM programming tools to prepare parts for finishing.
- Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and GDT (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) compliance.
- Remove burrs and sharp edges from machined components using appropriate deburring tools, ensuring smooth surfaces and safe handling.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to understand specifications and machining requirements.
- Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of machinery.
- Assist with materials handling, packaging finished parts, and maintaining a clean work area to support overall manufacturing efficiency.
Skills
- Proficiency in CNC programming, CAM programming, and CNC machining operations.
- Experience with Fanuc controls or similar CNC control systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical blueprint reading and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately using GD&T principles.
- Skilled in using shop math for measurements and calculations required during machining processes.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment troubleshooting and basic welding techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety standards in manufacturing environments along with experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment.
- Competence in using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality control.
- Experience working in manufacturing facilities or factory environments with a focus on quality assurance and materials handling.
