We’re seeking a friendly and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our spa.
Position Summary
As our Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in creating a positive, professional, and relaxing experience from the moment they walk in or call. You will handle client booking and complete client checkouts, light housekeeping and spa maintenance duties all while while contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys people, thrives in a fast-paced service setting, and takes pride in helping to keepthe spa running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet clients in person and over the phone with a positive, professional demeanor
- Answer phones, manage inquiries, and book/schedule appointments efficiently using our booking system
- Process client checkouts, payments, and retail sales with accuracy and care
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area
- Perform light housekeeping duties including taking out trash, folding and managing laundry (towels, linens, robes), and completing other daily chores to keep the spa spotless and inviting
- Assist with general administrative tasks and support the team as needed
- Help maintain an organized, calm, and welcoming spa environment at all times
Requirements
- Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely kind personality with a service-oriented mindset
- Excellent verbal communication skills – clear, articulate, and professional on the phone and in person
- Professional appearance and a polished, put-together presentation
- Strong teamwork and cooperative attitude; willingness to pitch in wherever needed
- Reliable, punctual, and able to handle multiple tasks with a positive attitude
- Previous customer service or reception experience is a plus, but a great attitude and strong work ethic are most important
- Comfortable with basic computer use and learning our scheduling and payment systems
- Must be able to work weekday evenings until 7:30pm and on Saturdays until 3:30pm
