Starting range: $105,000-$130,000
Scheduled Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. OT as required.

Overview:
The Civil/Structural Engineer will design, manage, and check drawings, and take-offs of TPG produced finished goods for infrastructure projects. These projects are in various markets in Texas and California. This also includes the design, support, management, and collaboration on in house facilities design and expansion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, proven project management abilities, and the skills to coordinate with contractors, and stakeholders. This role involves hands-on field engineering and oversight from concept through manufacturing, maintaining effective communication with plant operations.
Essential Functions:
- Design, draft, and check drawings and documentation for all concrete product projects.
- Review projects for accuracy and prioritize incoming projects for timely completion.
- Design and analyze various internal Capital expenditure projects
- Have a knowledge in ASTM, AASHTO, TXDOT, Caltrans, and other specifications for products we manufacture and competitive products.
- Assist with client communications when problem(s) may arise.
- Assist in modeling / drafting and analysis of new manufacturing products and processes
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Perform on-site product testing and conduct engineering certifications.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- BS Civil Engineer or BS Structural Engineer preferred
- Professional Engineering License preferred, TX, and CA
- EIT is acceptable with the expectation of obtaining a P.E. for both TX and CA
- Competency in reinforced concrete design, soil mechanics, and fluids
- Proficiency in engineering software (spreadsheets, word processing, AutoCAD, structural analysis/design tools).
- Interpersonal skills – Ability to present information to a small group of employees or sub-contractors.
- Effective communication skills (oral, written, listening, presentation) to effectively work with subcontractors and employees
- Organization skills. Scheduling, planning and prioritization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documents.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
