BEVERAGE CART ATTENDANT
Deer Run Golf Club, previously known as Tawakoni Golf Club, was founded in 1971. It is an 18-hole course, partially surrounded by the beautiful Lake Tawakoni. It is one of the most scenic golf courses in the DFW metro area. The new management has significantly improved the golf course and it is now one of the fastest growing golf courses.
Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Golf Beverage Cart Attendant, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing the overall experience for golfers at our prestigious golf course. As a friendly and customer-focused individual, you'll be responsible for operating the beverage cart, delivering refreshments, and providing exceptional service to golfers on the course.
This is a contract position with the following hours. This is a filler position during the summer and it may become more regular afterwards. You may work one, two, or three days a week. The hours are as follows:
Friday & Saturday: 9 AM to 2 PM
Sunday: 10 AM to 2 PM
Duties and Responsibilities
- Beverage Cart Operation: Drive the beverage cart throughout the golf course, ensuring timely and efficient service to golfers during their rounds.
- Customer Service: Greet golfers with a warm and friendly demeanor, offering a variety of beverages and snacks while providing excellent customer service.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels on the beverage cart, restocking as needed to ensure a variety of high-quality products are available.
- Transactions: Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions, and provide receipts to customers.
- Course Knowledge: Stay informed about the golf course layout, upcoming events, and any special promotions to provide accurate information to golfers.
- Cleanliness and Presentation: Keep the beverage cart clean, organized, and well-stocked. Ensure a neat and professional appearance while representing the golf course.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and comply with health and sanitation regulations.
- Communication: Collaborate with pro shop staff and other team members to coordinate services and address any customer concerns or special requests.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have a valid TABC license.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of golf etiquette and course layout is preferred.
- Ability to adhere to a set schedule and arrive on time for shifts.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderately heavy items throughout the shift.
- A valid driver's license is required for operating the beverage cart.
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with other staff members.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even during busy or challenging situations.
Pay — $5/hour + 100% of Tips
