About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Pediatric Occupational Therapist who is excited to help kids grow, play, and thrive. In this role, you’ll deliver specialized, play-based therapy across a variety of settings, empowering children to build confidence, independence, and essential life skills. You will support kids with diverse needs—from autism and developmental disabilities to sensory-based behavioral challenges and feeding difficulties—while tailoring care to each child’s unique goals. What You'll Do
- Assess children’s motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities to develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement a plan of care aimed at improving activities of daily living (ADLs), coordination, fine and gross motor skills
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support discharge planning
- Assist children with establishing routines and strategies for skill acquisition
- Work with children across various age groups including early intervention programs
- Document progress and adjust care plans regularly to meet evolving needs
What You Bring
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to pediatric care
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in assisting with ADLs such as dressing, feeding, grooming, and toileting
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and case management principles
- Knowledge of speech therapy integration when necessary for comprehensive patient care
- Skilled in developing care plans tailored to pediatric patients’ unique needs
