Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a cook. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dietary services, with a focus on high-quality food preparation and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, particularly within a C-store setting, and will be passionate about delivering fresh quality food. Canidates must be at least 16 years old to apply and must be able to obtain food handlers license within 30 days employer will help with license.
Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and dietary guidelines
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food handling processes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Provide excellent customer service by insuring that all food is fresh and hot.
- Participate in inventory management and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is plus.
- Strong culinary experience with fast food and or restaurant backgrounds is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience in meal preparation, cooking, and C store fast food.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
