Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and recommend drinks or specials.
- Manage POS systems such as, Toast POS, for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons.
- Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to keep up with high-volume service demands.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy nights, special events, or banquets.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS ; experience with cashiering and cash handling is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash transactions and retail math calculations.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles within the food industry is advantageous.
