We are looking for a Director of Water Resources & Wastewater Engineering to join our team. This person would be working in their Columbus, OH headquarters office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water resources, and wastewater engineering, specifically within Central Ohio municipalities, including the City of Columbus and surrounding areas. Knowledge of the City of Cincinnati and/or City of Cleveland would also be a plus.
Lead the design and management of storm water, drainage systems, flood mitigation, water and wastewater systems, treatment plants, pipelines, force mains, pump stations, and lift stations.

Coordinate and oversee technical design work, and overall project management, ensuring both technical and financial success.

Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, permits, and other necessary documents for both preliminary and final designs.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Develop, supervise, train, and mentor engineering teams to ensure projects meet goals and deliverables on time and within scope.

Collaborate with the financial team for fee proposals, project forecasting, reporting, and timely invoicing.

Work with CAD design teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive technical drawings for each project.

Maintain regular communication with clients and team members to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project milestones are achieved.

Prepare and present project updates, technical reports, and other documentation to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.

B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field of study.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant technical experience, including at least 5 years in project management/team leadership roles.

Licensed PE in the State of Ohio for 3+ years.

Experience in designing and managing water/wastewater systems, storm water management, flood mitigation, drainage design, and treatment plant projects.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Local project experience with municipalities and agencies such as the City of Columbus, Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD), and surrounding areas is preferred.
