Cocoa + Co. is a coffee and chocolate café located in Old Town neighborhood. We craft La Colombe coffee and feature an array of incredible pastries and confections. It's a friendly neighborhood place with lots of regulars and a close-knit team.
As a Cafe Manager you'll be leading a small barista team creating espresso beverages and decadent coffee& drinking chocolate with both care and speed. You are required to do opening/closing shifts.
You will be taking care of daily operations of the cafe as well as drive business development initiatives for the store
At least 1 year of cafe management experience
At least 3-4 years of Barista experience is required.
Latte Arts skill is a must.
Prior superior responsibilities in store management, team management is required
Weekday and weekend availability is required. We have standing schedules that are the same week-to-week so people can plan their lives.
5 days work week with mandatory weekend work shifts
ServeSafe Food Manager certification is required .
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily café operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.
- Utilize Square POS system for efficient order processing and cash register operations.
- Implement sales strategies to meet revenue goals while providing excellent customer service
- Prepare coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction.
- Inventory management
- Provide training to the team and new hires and ensure consistent quality across the baristas
Requirements
- Proven 1-2 years experience in cafe manager role is required
- Strong Barista skill with at least 3-4 years barista experience with Latte Arts skills are required
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays is needed.

Pay: $20-23 per hour
Expected hours: 5 days work week Up to 35 hrs per week with mandatory weekend work shifts
