Care That Matters is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide in-home assistance for a client requiring personal care and mobility support.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Rotating Weekends (Saturday and Sunday):
- 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist client with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Safely transfer and reposition client using a Hoyer lift
- Provide personal care, including toileting, grooming, and hygiene assistance
- Monitor and report changes in client condition
- Offer companionship and support in a respectful, patient-centered manner
- Maintain a clean and safe care environment
- Follow all care plans and agency policies
Requirements:
- Experience providing hands-on personal care preferred
- Experience using a Hoyer lift or willingness to be trained
- Dementia care experience preferred; dementia training required
- Ability to work independently and follow care instructions
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Comfortable working in a home with pets/animals
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Qualifications:
- Home Health Aide, CNA, Caregiver, or related experience preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
- Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility needs
