Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide medication reminders and support medication administration following care plans
- Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Support patients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or assistive devices
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental well-being
- Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through light housekeeping and sanitation tasks
- Observe and report changes in health status or behavior to healthcare professionals or family members
- Follow HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
- Assist with specialized care such as dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, or hospice support as needed
- Support clients with developmental disabilities or autism through personalized care strategies
Skills
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Experience working in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home health environments highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures and care plans
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required (e.g., resident transfers)
- Compassionate communication skills with patients of diverse backgrounds and needs
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple care tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is a plus
