We’re looking for enthusiastic and experienced massage therapists to join our Allied Health Programs as the Alaska Career College, Student Massage Clinic Manager. Position Details
- Job Type: Part-Time up to 24 hours per week
- Pay Range: $25-30/hr.
- Includes CEU trainings by professional massage organizations hosted by Alaska Career College
- State Licensing fee assistance
- Professional memberships - AMTA and ABMP
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday workdays as scheduled (scheduled well in advance)
- Location: Alaska Career College
What You’ll Do
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Coaching and mentoring that reinforces the Massage Therapy techniques taught in the classroom through a hands-on public clinic experience.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with administrative departments to support student success.
- Participate in faculty meetings and ongoing training sessions.
- Stay current with industry trends and maintain professional credentials.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for aspiring massage therapists.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently licensed as a Massage Therapist.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in teaching, supervisory, or leadership environments is a plus.
