Foxtail Coffee Co. is excited that we've opened our second location in NC! We're looking for energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Baristas who are passionate about coffee and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Deliver friendly, welcoming, and efficient customer service while creating a positive café experience.
- Accurately process customer transactions using the Toast POS system and handle cash responsibly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café, including equipment, workstations, dining areas, and restrooms.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines.
- Assist with preparing pre-made food items and maintaining back-of-house cleanliness.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Answer customer questions, provide menu recommendations, and promote featured products.
- Perform opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of barista experience in a café or coffee shop.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be available to work weekday opening shifts beginning at 6:00 AM.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
Preferred:
- Experience using the Toast POS system.
- Knowledge of espresso equipment and coffee preparation techniques.
- Latte art experience is a plus.
