Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active licensure or certification as a School Social Worker
- Previous work in a school setting or with elementary-age children preferred
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and parents
- Experience providing emotional support and developing intervention plans
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or similar systems is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct social and emotional support to students in K-4
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and implement tailored interventions
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and administrators to promote student success
- Facilitate small groups or individual sessions as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and interventions
- Act as a liaison between school, families, and community resources
