Construction Scheduler
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to develop, maintain, and manage project schedules that support on-time delivery and effective resource allocation. The Scheduler will work closely with project managers, planners, and site teams to create realistic, data-driven schedules, evaluate impacts of changes, and produce time incident reports to support decision-making and contractual claims.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools, ensuring alignment with project baselines and milestones.

Collaborate with project managers, planners, subcontractors, and field teams to gather progress information and update schedule logic and dates.

Prepare and deliver regular schedule reports, forecasts, and time incident reports that summarize progress, delays, and recommended recovery actions.

Perform schedule analysis including float analysis, critical path identification, resource leveling, and delay impact assessments.

Support change management by evaluating time impacts of scope changes, RFIs, and unforeseen events and documenting effects for claims or extensions of time.

Coordinate and contribute to planning meetings, progress reviews, and risk workshops; present schedule findings to stakeholders.

Ensure schedules comply with contract requirements and project procedures, and maintain clear version control and documentation.

Provide training and guidance to project staff on scheduling best practices and the effective use of Primavera P6 and related tools.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on scheduling experience on construction projects; proven experience using Primavera P6 (P6) is required.

Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling methodology, schedule development, resource leveling, and recovery planning.

Experience producing Time Incident Reports, delay analyses, and schedule-based claims support.

Familiarity with construction processes, contract administration, and site operations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present technical schedule information to non-technical stakeholders.

Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and schedule reporting tools; experience with additional planning software is a plus.

Certifications such as PMI-SP, AACE PSP, or Primavera training are desirable.
