Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and schedule appointments efficiently using patient management software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Explain treatment plans clearly, answer patient questions, and provide detailed information about procedures, payment options, and insurance coverage.
- Coordinate with dental providers to ensure timely delivery of treatments and follow-up care.
- Manage insurance claims, verify patient coverage, and assist with billing processes in accordance with health regulation policies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and sensitive information in compliance with privacy laws.
- Communicate effectively via phone and in person to address patient inquiries, reschedule appointments, and facilitate smooth office operations.
- Support administrative tasks such as typing reports, updating medical records, and managing electronic health records (EHR) with accuracy.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of health regulation policies, medical terminology, and insurance procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with patient management software or EMR/EHR systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patients.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with medical administrative support tasks such as billing, coding, and appointment scheduling.
- Knowledge of dental office operations and experience working with electronic health records (EHR) is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
