Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist Trainee to join our dynamic dental team. This entry-level position offers a comprehensive training opportunity for individuals passionate about oral health and patient care. As a Dental Hygienist Trainee, you will assist licensed dental hygienists and dentists in providing exceptional dental services, gaining hands-on experience in patient assessment, dental procedures, and infection control protocols.
Duties
- Assist licensed dental hygienists and dentists during patient examinations and procedures, including dental cleanings, x-rays, and patient education
- Learn to perform patient assessments such as vital signs measurement and medical history review
- Support infection prevention management by adhering to aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary dental equipment and supplies, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
- Use Dentrix Platform to manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately, documenting patient information and treatment details
- Support medical imaging procedures, including taking dental x-rays while maintaining radiation safety standards
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
