Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer/Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and committed to ensuring the accuracy and quality of all packing and distribution activities. Must be able to stand for 8 -10 hours, lift up to 70lbs
Duties
- Perform Packing/Unpacking of steel rims to ship out to customers.
- Operate equipment pallet jacks, safely to load and unload materials.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, inspecting goods for quality control, and documenting transactions.
- Build boxes, reapir pallets.
- Assist with warehouse distribution tasks including load planning, palletizing, and preparing shipments for delivery.
- Conduct regular quality checks on packed items to meet company standards before dispatch.
- Support warehouse supervisor in maintaining safety protocols, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and load/unload activities.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with inventory control practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order picking & packing processes.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
