Duties
- Safely operate tractor-dry van trailers.
- No loading and unloading, just hook up and drop of Amazon trailers.
- Execute route driving assignments with precision, adhering to schedules and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to promote a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers or similar heavy-duty vehicles
- Skilled in operating automatic transmission trucks with confidence and control
- Familiarity with dry van trailers.
- Strong knowledge of freight handling including load & unload procedures
- Ability to navigate routes efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with federal regulations
