American Standard Restoration is seeking an experienced Insurance Negotiations Specialist to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have extensive experience writing mitigation estimates, handling supplements, and negotiating with insurance carriers. This is an in-office desk position and does not require you to be in the field.
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Xactimate, understands carrier guidelines, and can maximize claim revenue through accurate estimating and effective revision management.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing/creating detailed Xactimate estimates for water, mold, fire, and content estimates
- Review project documentation, photos, moisture reports, and scopes of work
- Submit and manage supplements, revisions, and change orders
- Negotiate directly with insurance adjusters and carriers
- Identify missed line items and recoverable revenue opportunities
- Work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure estimate accuracy
- Track estimate approvals and supplement status
- Maintain organized claim documentation and communication records
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of restoration estimating experience
- Advanced Xactimate proficiency required
- Proven experience handling supplements and insurance revisions
- Strong understanding of water mitigation and restoration industry standards
- Experience negotiating with insurance carriers and adjusters
- Ability to read scopes, photos, and documentation accurately
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- IICRC certifications is a plus
- Experience with DASH, CoreLogic, or similar restoration software

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
