This position requires 100% percent travel and our Service Technicians trek the globe! As a Peddinghaus Corporation Service Tech you will be expected to stay out on the road for a minimum of two weeks at a time. Overseas trips may be three to four weeks and agreed upon ahead of time. Additional compensation is provided for staying out more than two weeks. All techs are expected to live within one hours travel from a major airport. Pay range from high $20's per hour to high $30's per hour based on experience and skill level. Successful candidates must possess the required skills listed below:
Necessary skills and attributes
- Strong Electrical (Industrial, A/C &D/C drives, PLC knowledge, Siemens Step7 a plus!)
- Mechanical abilities
- Open to 100% travel!
- Willing to travel internationally!
- Must have clear and active driver’s licenses
- Must be able to obtain a passport!
- Basic computer skills required
- Communication skills
- Ability to read electrical & hydraulic schematics
- Electrical & hydraulic experience – 3 to 5 years
- Troubleshooting skills
- Siemens knowledge a plus!
