ESANA is a plastic surgery and medspa practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advanced skincare treatments in a professional, welcoming environment. We are seeking an experienced, part-time, licensed Medical Aesthetician to join our team. This position requires travel between our New Haven and Guilford office locations and offers the opportunity to work alongside two board-certified plastic surgeon, while helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals.
Position Summary
The Medical Aesthetician will provide customized skincare treatments, educate patients on skincare products and treatment plans, and support the overall patient experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about aesthetics, knowledgeable about medical-grade skincare, and committed to delivering outstanding results and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional skincare treatments including:
- HydraFacials
- Customized facials
- Chemical peels
- Microneedling
- Dermaplaning
- Waxing
- Lymphatic Drainage
- Skin consultations and analysis
- Recommend and educate patients on medical-grade skincare products and home-care regimens.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient goals and skin concerns.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and patient documentation.
- Ensure treatment rooms are properly sanitized and stocked according to safety standards.
- Assist with patient retention through follow-up care and treatment recommendations.
- Support practice marketing efforts through patient education, events, and promotions when needed.
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Travel between office locations as needed.
Qualifications
- Current State Aesthetician License required.
- Minimum 2 years of aesthetic experience preferred.
- Experience or knowledge of performing HydraFacial treatments, facials, and chemical peels.
- Strong knowledge of medical-grade skincare products and ingredient-based recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term patient relationships.
- Strong sales and retail experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a medical spa, plastic surgery, dermatology, or cosmetic practice is a plus, but not needed
- Knowledge of skin conditions and corrective skincare protocols.
- Experience with skincare consultations and treatment plan development.
- Comfortable discussing treatment recommendations and product sales.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Hours
- Three-four days per week (Monday-Friday) 9am-5pm
- One-two Saturdays per month 9am-2pm
- Locations: New Haven/ Guilford location
