Position
***MUST BE ABLE TO CONFIDENTLY SPEAK CHINESE***
The ideal candidate MUST be bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin) and comfortable communicating confidently with a diverse clientele both in person and over phone/text. This role is ideal for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, sales-minded, and passionate about beauty, wellness, and luxury client experience. You will play an important role in client experience, appointment coordination, retail sales, membership education, and overall daily spa operations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in clients with a professional, luxury-oriented demeanor
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and daily calendars
- Answer phone and texts to assist with inquiries and appointment scheduling
- Educate walk-ins and existing clients about treatments, memberships, and promotions
- Assist with retail sales by recommending skincare products aligned with client needs
- Process payments, gift cards, and membership transactions
- Support the spa team to ensure seamless daily operations
- Assist with social media content or administrative tasks when needed
Qualifications
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
- Previous experience in front desk, scheduling, beauty, or sales (spa, hospitality, or medical office preferred)
- Strong sales skills with proven ability to upsell services or products
- Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
- Organized and detail-oriented with comfort using booking/POS software
- Ability to navigate social media platforms like Instagram, Tiktok, and Wechat
