JOB SUMMARY AND SCOPE
Each Associate is responsible for performing in designated primary and secondary Kitchen positions at a level which will ensure the successful operation of a Fazoli's Restaurant Success is measured against Company standards of quality, guest service and cleanliness.

All Kitchen Positions

Greets each Guest (or party) with enthusiasm, sincerity, and genuine appreciation within 10 seconds of their arrival.

Interacts with each Guest and Associate in a courteous, cordial and professional manner.

Verbally communicates effectively to a diverse base of Guests and coworkers.

Initiates conversations, speaks and listens effectively, and "connects" with Guests interpersonally through casual conversation and by demonstrating an "attitude of servitude."

Visually ensures quality and presentation of all orders before serving.

Works with and through fellow Associates and Managers to ensure complete Guest satisfaction.

Cleans and sanitizes station and restaurant in accordance with Company and health department standards. Utilizes "clean as you go" system.

Acts independently.

Prioritizes actions according to Guest needs, restaurant needs and business flow.

Thanks each Guest for their patronage and invites them to return in the future.

Informs management of all Guest issues and concerns.

Demonstrates personal appearance, uniform, hygiene standards and demeanor that is consistent at all times with Company expectations defined in the Company's Operations Manual.

Performs miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned.
Sandwich Maker/Baked Table
-
Possesses expert knowledge of all sandwich recipes, preparation and assembly procedures, product cooking and holding temperatures and times, product portion sizes and presentation, food safety and sanitation procedures.

Prepares sandwich station products accurately and efficiently to standards as they appear on the monitor and/or printer.
Steam Table Operator

Dishes all orders quickly, accurately and neatly. Ensures proper plate presentation for all orders
-
Ensures quality of all products served by utilizing proper baking, heating, holding, storing, and portioning per Company standards.

Sets up and/or tears down steam table as needed.
-
Strives to achieve service times 100% of the time.

Utilizes all safety and sanitation equipment provided to minimize risk of injury and product contamination.

Utilizes timer(s) to track cooking and holding time(s) on specified products.Communicates appropriately to management whenever business demands indicate product overages or shortages may be occurring.
Oven Coordinator

Monitors the flow of business (dine-in and drive-thru) and ensures appropriate amounts of product are always immediately available.

Ensures quality of all products served by utilizing proper baking, heating, holding, storing, and portioning per Company standards.

Delivers all oven-baked foods, safely and quickly, to appropriate holding or serving platforms.

Stocks steam table and reach-in cooler to appropriate levels during rush periods.

Communicates appropriately to management whenever business demands indicate product overages or shortages may be occurring.
Drive-Thru Coordinator

Assembles each order correctly and ensures accuracy by checking each order against the register screen and/or printer.

Assists steam table operator in preparing food items for drive-thru orders.
Prep Specialist (Pasta, Pizza, Salads, Breadsticks. Miscellaneous Prep/Portioning)

Prepares all products accurately, consistently, efficiently and safely to Fazoli's exact recipe and portioning specifications.

Complies with all product holding, handling and cooking procedures while ensuring quality standards are maintained at all times.

Ensures sufficient quality and quantity of fresh delicious products are readily available to meet Guest expectations and business needs.

Utilizes available tools to accurately project product usage and minimize waste.

Cleans, sanitizes, stocks, organizes and maintains food prep area and equipment using "clean as you go" technique.

Experience: Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not mandatory.

Miscellaneous:

Must successfully complete the required GAME training module(s).

Basic knowledge and understanding of Fazoli's operations, products, prices, food preparation, and presentation processes and ability to apply knowledge to exceed Guest expectations.

Must successfully complete Hazard Communication training and certification process.

Must complete all applicable food-handling and/or safety training certifications.

Must work well independently with minimal supervision.
