Corporate Director of Business Development - Skilled Nursing Facilities
Located throughout Brooklyn, Queens & Long Island, NY
A nursing home management company located throughout the New York City, NY area is looking for an experienced Corporate Director of Business Development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a team-based, facility-level Marketing Plans to include: analyzing the local healthcare systems; identifying and meeting needs of customers; determining core competitive advantages; building a core selling message; establishing reach and frequency for target customers and prospects and; coordinating selling strategies and tactics.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key community partners. Prospecting to gain and secure access to higher level hospital, ACO and Physicians.
- Development and execution of Census Improvement Plans, marketing plans and programs, both short and long term, to support sales and revenue objectives of organization alongside of the RDO and VP of Business Development.
- Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of business development representatives, setting clear goals, coaching performance, and motivating them to achieve sales target.
- Identify, communicate, advocate, and when appropriate, intervene with obstacles to optimum census outside of admissions, sales, and marketing (i.e. operational, clerical, and administrative issues). Guides preparation and completion of all reports to be sent to management.
- Responsible for overseeing the documentation involved with the intake process for several skilled nursing facilities
- Manage inquiry process
- Oversight of Admissions personnel, making sure the admissions processes and office are running smoothly, regulatory systems, etc..
Qualifications:
- Must have extensive marketing and admissions experience w/ skilled nursing facilities
- Prior Regional Marketing & Admissions experience strongly preferred
- Must have established connections with local hospitals
- Must have long term care/nursing home experience
- Possess a strong network and proven ability to generate referrals and build partnerships
- Must be willing to travel
- Ability to be accurate, concise and detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
