Evening Social Attendant (Part-Time)
Position: Evening Social Attendant
Schedule: Monday–Wednesday | 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Department: Food & Beverage / Guest Services
Reports To: Front Office Manager or General Manager
Position Summary
The Evening Social Attendant is responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for guests during Staybridge Suites' complimentary Evening Social. This role prepares, serves, and replenishes a light dinner buffet while maintaining exceptional cleanliness, food safety, and guest service standards. The Evening Social is one of our signature amenities, and the attendant plays a key role in helping guests feel at home.
Essential ResponsibilitiesGuest Service
- Welcome guests with a warm, friendly attitude.
- Engage with guests and create a hospitable atmosphere.
- Answer basic questions about the hotel and local area or direct guests to the Front Desk for assistance.
- Ensure guests have everything they need during the evening social.
Food Preparation & Service
- Prepare and present the scheduled evening meal according to brand standards.
- Set up the buffet, beverage station, utensils, condiments, and dining area.
- Monitor food quality and replenish items throughout service.
- Maintain proper food temperatures and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Store leftovers appropriately or dispose of food according to company policy.
Cleaning & Organization
- Keep the dining area clean and well-stocked throughout service.
- Wash dishes, serving utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Wipe and sanitize tables, counters, beverage stations, and kitchen surfaces.
- Sweep and mop kitchen and dining room floors after service.
- Empty trash and recycling containers as needed.
- Leave the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for the next shift.
Inventory
- Notify management when supplies or food products are running low.
- Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous food service, hospitality, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Food Handler certification preferred (or willingness to obtain if required by local regulations).
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for up to four hours.
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying.
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment and handle hot food.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
