Location : Foster City, CA
Duration : Full Time Position with client.

Primary Responsibilities :
- Role: Sr. Data Warehouse Developer for ETL and Business Intelligence activities.
- Responsible for designing and writing ETL programs required to extract, transform, clean and move data and meta data so they can be loaded into a data warehouse, data mart, or operational data store.
- Work with Business Analysts to identify, understand, and prioritize user information requirements;
- Develop business-oriented meta-data definitions.
- Perform software analysis and tests software specific to area of business.
- Determine system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters to meet business requirements and hardware/software compatibility.
- Responsible to document and recommend design changes and/or enhancements to systems.
Skills/Knowledge Required :
- Oracle Warehouse Builder, ETL, Data Modeling, Database Design Schemas, Data Structures, Aggregation, OLAP reporting.
- Experience with other ETL Tools like Informatica will also be considered in place of Oracle Warehouse Builder.
- Should be well versed in the use of SQL, PL/SQL, Entity-Relationship and Data Warehouse Dimensional Data Modeling (preferably ERWin), RDBMS (preferably Oracle 9i/10G) and UNIX/ Linux.
Experience :
- A minimum of 5+ years working experience in IT.
- Must have 2+ years experience in ETL using Oracle Warehouse builder or any other ETL Tool.
- Experience with Data warehousing methodologies and development. This includes:
o DW data modeling
o Star Schema design
o Hierarchy structures
o Aggregation methodologies
- Must have experience with an OLAP reporting system (AWM)
Other Requirements :
- Must have Good communication skills
- Proof of your legal work authorization status & Two professional references from last two assignments / projects / employments will be required if you are short listed.
- You will need to sign non-compete agreement if short listed.
