Our company is in search of quality, experienced painters, with an emphasis on quality and details. This means if your only experience is in lower end, speedy, "in and out", cutting corners, sub par work, then you need not apply. We're also open to collaborating or working with other established companies and/or small crews or 1 person businesses. Finding reliable, experienced professionals is difficult and valued once found. We appreciate those that also appreciate what we're trying to achieve. Attention to detail is necessary. A minimum of 2-4 years is typically required, but 5 years is preferred. We may be open to training the right candidates who have less experience, yet are eager to learn and possess an understanding of the field and aptitude to grow. All candidates will be observed to assess their skill sets. You MUST be clean and represent that in your appearance. Your personal image is a reflection of the company. Quality work is a must as our company and our clients expect that. Much of the work is highly detail oriented and the quality is among the top in the city. Our company specializes in fine finishes as opposed to doing quick work. The candidate must have a skilled touch and be exceptional in their approach. However, this is something that can be learned if you're not so experienced yet. There will be a probationary period (as with most companies) to determine whether the applicant will continue to work for this company. We’ll start pay rate at an entry level and move up according to skill level and progression of that. This may be negotiable depending upon experience and position. The company will provide all equipment if needed, but would prefer the potential employee have the basics to start-brushes, putty knives, a masking machine, etc. We’ll give a list of all of those prior to the start of the position. All applicants must live in the Kansas City area currently.
The applicant must have their own reliable vehicle and valid drivers license-no exceptions. A background check and reference of former employers will be done. The application must pay for their own additional work clothes after the first set is provided. The schedule can be flexible and adjusted as needed. It’s a very comfortable and friendly environment.
