Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Automotive Lot Porter to join our dynamic dealership team. Responsibilities
- Safely move and park vehicles within <LOCATION> parking areas, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Assist customers with vehicle arrivals and departures, providing friendly guest services that enhance their experience.
- Conduct visual inspections of vehicles for damage or irregularities before and after test drives or deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the lot, including sweeping, removing debris, and organizing vehicles.
- Support dealership staff with delivery driver duties, including transporting vehicles between locations or to customers’ homes when needed.
- Handle basic cashiering tasks such as cash handling and processing payments for services or vehicle-related transactions.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding vehicle status, customer requests, or lot issues to ensure seamless operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or retail environments is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Familiarity with <LOCATION> parking regulations and driving laws.
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members.
- Dealership experience or background as a delivery driver enhances candidacy.
- Ability to perform basic retail math for cash handling and transaction processing.
