POLICE OFFICER OPENING CITY OF CANTON, MISSOURI The City of Canton, Missouri is currently accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer. Applicants must be 21 years of age, and possess a current A or B Missouri Peace Officer license and valid driver’s license. Applicants will need to pass a background investigation and drug screening upon hire. Applications can be picked up from the Canton Police Department. Benefit package includes fully-paid health insurance for officer, Missouri LAGERS retirement plan, $.25 per hour raise after 6 month probation period, paid vacation, sick time and leave time after one year. On-call time is also paid along with an annual uniform allowance. Starting salary is $20.14 per hour.
