Our client is seeking an experienced Subcontract Administrator to support complex subcontract management activities within a fast-paced aerospace environment. This role will be responsible for administering high-value subcontracts, managing long-term supplier agreements, negotiating terms and conditions, and supporting procurement efforts for large components and structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the full lifecycle of subcontracts, from solicitation and award through closeout.
- Manage complex supplier agreements, including Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
- Develop and evaluate RFPs, conduct cost/price analyses, and lead supplier negotiations.
- Negotiate subcontract terms and conditions while ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
- Support procurement of large components, fabricated structures, and critical hardware.
- Develop and manage milestone-based Statements of Work (SOWs), deliverables, and payment schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve contract issues, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Legal, Contracts, and Program teams to ensure successful subcontract execution.
- Maintain subcontract documentation and support audit and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Level II: 3+ years of subcontract administration.
- Level III: 5+ years of subcontract administration.
- Experience administering complex subcontracts and long-term agreements.
- Experience negotiating and managing contract terms and conditions.
- Familiarity with milestone-based SOWs and performance-based payment structures.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience procuring large components, pressure vessels, cryogenic tanks, or major fabricated assemblies.
- Aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing industry experience.
- Familiarity with LTAs, MSAs, and strategic supplier agreements.
- Knowledge of procurement compliance requirements, including ITAR/EAR.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, CFCM, CPCM, or equivalent

The ideal candidate is a strategic subcontract professional with experience managing complex supplier relationships, negotiating agreements, and supporting high-value procurement activities. Aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
