Position Overview
Frozen Ropes is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Softball Coaches & Instructors to join our coaching staff beginning this Fall.
We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves the game and wants to make a positive impact on young athletes. The position combines travel team coaching, private instruction, clinics, camps, and year-round softball programming.
We're looking for coaches who bring energy, professionalism, and a passion for player development while creating a positive and challenging environment for athletes.
What You'll Do
- Coach and mentor Frozen Ropes travel softball teams
- Provide private and small-group softball instruction
- Lead clinics, camps, practices, and player development programs
- Teach hitting, fielding, throwing, baserunning, game strategy, and overall softball fundamentals
- Help players improve their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game
- Create a positive, structured, and engaging training environment
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches
- Represent the Frozen Ropes culture and commitment to player development
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Played softball through at least the high school level
- Strong understanding of softball fundamentals
- Passion for teaching and developing young athletes
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Collegiate or other advanced playing experience
- Previous softball coaching or instructional experience
- Travel softball coaching experience
- Experience working with players of various ages and skill levels
- Softball pitching experience is a strong plus
Schedule
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Position begins Fall 2026
- Flexible scheduling based on lessons, team activities, and programming
- Afternoon, evening, and weekend availability is expected
