The Head Spa Sanctuary is seeking a strong, dependable leader to join our team as a Manager on Duty (MOD).
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys leading teams, solving problems, and creating exceptional guest experiences. As a Manager on Duty, you will serve as the operational leader of the spa during your scheduled shifts, ensuring guests receive an outstanding experience while supporting the success of our front desk and provider teams.
This position requires evening and weekend availability.
What You’ll Do
Lead the Team
- Serve as the primary leader on duty during assigned shifts
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to front desk and service provider teams
- Hold team members accountable to company standards and expectations
- Help create a positive, professional, and supportive work environment
- Assist with conflict resolution and problem-solving when challenges arise
Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences
- Ensure every guest receives outstanding hospitality from arrival to departure
- Address guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Support service recovery efforts when needed
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and elevated guest environment
- Uphold The Head Spa Sanctuary’s standards of excellence
Manage Daily Operations
- Oversee opening and closing procedures
- Ensure operational checklists are completed accurately
- Monitor appointments, waitlists, forms, and guest flow
- Support staffing needs and schedule adjustments as needed
- Ensure treatment rooms and guest spaces meet company standards
- Communicate inventory and supply needs to leadership
Support Front Desk Operations
- Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs
- Support phone, text, email, and guest communications
- Help maximize booking opportunities and schedule utilization
- Ensure front desk team members follow procedures and deliver excellent service
Drive Accountability
- Follow up on delegated tasks and responsibilities
- Ensure daily priorities are completed
- Communicate operational concerns and opportunities to leadership
- Document guest concerns, incidents, and operational issues when necessary
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to confidently lead and motivate a team
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, professional, and accountable
Preferred Qualifications
- Hospitality, spa, salon, wellness, retail, restaurant, or luxury service experience
- Experience managing guest-facing operations
- Experience with booking, scheduling, or POS systems
- Experience coaching and developing team members
Schedule Requirements
Our spa is open 7 days per week from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
Candidates must be available for:
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Holidays as needed
- Flexible scheduling based on business demands
Leadership presence during peak business hours is essential to this role.
