Shop Assistant / Office Coordinator
Alpine Auto Body & Collision Centers – Rootstown, OH
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $15–$18 per hour (based on experience)
Alpine Auto Body is seeking a dependable, self-motivated individual to support both front office operations and shop workflow in a fast-paced collision repair environment.
This is a hands-on, active role—not a sit-at-the-desk position. The right candidate will be organized, proactive, and willing to step in wherever needed to keep the shop running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage front office communication including phones, customer interaction, and scheduling
- Assist the body shop manager with daily operations and workflow coordination
- Receive, inspect, and properly organize incoming parts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace throughout the office and shop
- Identify what needs to be done and take initiative without constant direction
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and consistent attendance
- Ability to stay organized and keep pace in a busy shop environment
- Self-starter who does not need to be micromanaged
- Comfortable working on your feet and handling both office and shop responsibilities
- Team-oriented with a professional attitude
- Automotive or shop experience preferred
